The process of maintaining a client’s vehicle begins with meticulous preparation of the alloy wheels; the inner rim and outer face are cleaned, and an in-depth clean of each spoke is performed.
Before the main activity is carried out, a pre-wash must take place. A pre-wash is an essential part of an effective valeting programme, and includes the effective application of 'snow foam' to a vehicle’s exterior.

Snow foam is an industry-specific activity that is designed to assist the breakdown and decomposition of oil, grease, road grime, and even bug splatters. The foam clings onto a surface more than a generic shampoo meaning foam stays on long enough to breakthrough the dirt build-up.

​At this stage in the process, it is important to use a gentle detergent that is environmentally friendly yet tough on stains.

The image below shows application of snow foam over the entire car, more notably, over the vehicle's alloy wheels and inner wheel arch.  
This particular process utilises specialised non-corrosive products combined with a true PH neutral water solution. This avoids any damage to delicate mechanical components whilst acting as a form of degreaser to soften and breakaway unwanted dirt and debris.

​The vehicle is now ready for its main exterior wash. This maintenance wash is performed using the two-bucket filtration wash method in pure PH neutral water. 

The use of a grit guard at this stage is vital, as it prevents potential damage such as swirls and scratches. 
A grit guard is a raised radial surface that sits perfectly at the bottom of a water bucket to ensure that any abrasive dirt or debris from the wash mitt is extracted and trapped at the bottom of the bucket. This means with each and every wash, there is no chance of grime or debris remaining on the mitt.

​At the end of the process, the vehicle is dried with a soft pile hand towel, with the glass polished and the tyres dressed immaculately. The implementation of dedicated tools and techniques used across all packages allows each client to receive scratch-free, swirl-free and pristine results.
Unfortunately, at the opposite end of the spectrum, wash shops use the very same cleaning equipment, materials and accessories to wash every single vehicle that enters their forecourt.

​This means that mineral deposits such as dust, dirt, salt and road tar are all trapped in the same cleaning cloth and are immediately transferred directly onto the next client’s vehicle - your pride and joy. A simple rinse of this dirty cloth would not dislodge the array of grime and debris that had been accumulated from washing previous vehicles.

The purpose of this type of correction is to restore and uplift paintwork. Although some surface damage can be corrected, it will require the good hands of a professional. Your specialist will first examine the extent of the damage and will perform the necessary bodywork repairs using advanced correction techniques. This is the most demanding, and the most intensive part of the process.

Over time, dents, chips and micro-abrasions develop over the protective surface of a car. Depending on the nature of damage, the appropriate level of correction must be applied. 

Types of damages range from surface scrapes and micro-marrings (a result of low-level cleaning methods such as automated washes or wash shops) to swirl marks that are created as a result of improper washing.
